He asks the other pets' advice, and he even asks the lady who owns the pet shop, but she doesn't seem to think that brown rats are very popular right now! Poor rat, will he ever find a home? The Secret Circle is a trilogy by Lisa Jane Smith which is compelling and the most addictive teenage series of all time. Once I picked the first book up (The Initiation) I was hooked as the mixture of thrill and supernatural overtones of the series swept me away into another world.
