BREATH TAKING
Review of Stone Cold - Robert Swindells by kayzschick

Advantages: Truthful (it gives you a very strong incite to lives on the street)
Disadvantages: i ant think of any lol

Stone cold, another excellent book by Robert Swindells. It is a moving but truthful novel. It was a really exciting, gripping book to read. It gave me an in site of what homeless people really go though. The novel used techniques that really help to put more suspense and feeling into the novel. One of the most used techniques in the novel is short sentences. Swindells makes the story have great suspense in short sentences. "Oh no lad. Not going ...
...also used to persuade people about something. I thought that stone cold was a very gripping and emotional novel it really helped me to see how hard it truly is for homeless people. The only problem I had with the book is that I think the ending was rushed. ... Read review

BOO!
Review of Room 13 - Robert Swindells by KarenUK

Advantages: Easy to read, a page-turner in places.
Disadvantages: Cliched, predictable.

...This is my review of Room 13, a novel published in 1989 and the winner of the 1990 Children’s Book Award. Room 13 is a horror or thriller type of book for children aged around ten to fourteen, I would say. At just over 150 pages long, it is easy to read and after a slightly hesitant start, I finished the last hundred pages or so in one sitting. The chapters are fairly short throughout, which means they don’t look too daunting for kids. ...
...terrifyingly vivid nightmare about a room with the number thirteen on it and what lies within. In the morning, she feels much better and sets out for Whitby as planned with the rest of the second year of the school, which is amusingly(?) called Bottomtop Middle! As they reach their hotel in Whitby, the dream comes back to haunt Fliss as she sees familiar places and things, which remind her of aspects of her nightmare. She is allocated a room on ... Review of Silverfin: A James Bond Adventure (Young Bond) - Charlie Higson by rowbot23

Advantages: Everything is brilliant!
Disadvantages: You can't put the book down

This book is written by Charlie Higson who also writes screenplays and adult thriller novels, as well as a performer and co-creator of the fast show. Using the idea of Ian Flemings Books about a spy called "Bond. James Bond" he has created a fantastic book about James bond when he was younger and not a spy. Before the name became a legend. Before the boy became the man. Meet Bond. James Bond. The book has 372 pages full of excitement and thrills ...
...in the Scottish Highlands, James Bond is back at Eton, where he has joined the risk-taking Danger Society. Summer vacation is on the horizon and James is looking forward to the school trip to the beautiful Italian island of Sardinia, and the opportunity to spend some time with his reclusive cousin Victor. But all is not as it appears. James soon discovers that the seemingly peaceful island harbors some strange secrets. Before long, Victor's house ... Read review
