Goodnight Mr Tom - My Favourite Book
Advantages: Well Written And A Great Story Line Disadvantages: Its A Tear Jerker
Goodnight Mr Tom is a book my mum gave me when I was younger and still to this day its my favourite book and one that I never bore of reading. The book was written by Michelle Magorian and has been in circulation since 1981. I first read this book when I was 12 but to be honest I think its one that should be viewed by parents before allowing their child to read it as it does contain some uncomfortable but powerful reading. The book tells the story ... ...central London to the country where he is boarded with a older widowed male called Tom Oakley. As time goes by and the two begin to build a close friendship and trust it becomes clear to Tom that Willie has had a hard life and faced with severe abuse both physically and mentally from his mother. Just when things look like they life is eventually going well for William his mother requests that he is returned. William has to leave his friends and Tom, ...

Breaking Dawn-the final book of Twilight
Advantages: We'll see the happy ever after Disadvantages: The fact that this is the final book
I couldn't help being excited when I first had my hand on this book! I was excited about the wedding! And the fact that Edward brought Bella to a very romantic place. I love reading their time together in the island. Their time together in the island was so romantic. Edward was so thoughtful and loving. And then Renesmee! Who wouldn't love her. She was lovely. Perfect. I actually can't help but laugh whenever there was a jacob moment after Renesmee's ... ...daughter Nessie. That was funny. And I also like the gathering of the different coven, everyone adores Renesmee, and Jacob was so sweet being around her to protect her even if he was surrounded by vampires. And the fact that Bella also started learning her powers. And then of course I really love the final scene where Bella, Edward and Renesmee went back to their home at the ending. How I wish there will be a Jacob/Renesmee spinoff. ...

a very good action book for all ages
Advantages: very good author Disadvantages: none
This was a very good action book which can be enjoyed by all genders and ages throughout the world. the cover is bright and could be spotted from a distance in a shop. the author uses good ajectives, adverbs etc. tthe title explains what might happens in the story but then ties into it later on in the story. i got this book from a second hand shop thinking it would be rubbish but actually it changed the way i read books. i used to read girly books ... ...keeps me occupied and i enjoy reading these book from this author. i enjoyed this book so much i bought the next 2 books in the series. i would highly reccommend this book to all ages especially to young boys as boys are into things like that. in conclusion the story is about an average teen school boy called james Adams who is recruited by an undercover spy agency call CHERUB. unfortunately james' mother dies of obesity. Is it that time already?
Advantages: Easy to read, some funny elements Disadvantages: None
...by Jill Murphy. Peace at Last is written and illustrated by Jill Murphy, it is a book that is great for bedtime reading but also suitable at other times, we read the story at various times over the week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The basic plot surrounds poor Daddy Bear and his inability to get to sleep, it all starts with Mummy Bear’s snoring and goes through the whole house in Daddy Bear’s quest for a good night’s sleep, we are in Baby Bear’s room, ... ...poor daddy can find no peace. We can all sympathise with Daddy Bear and all have had nights when it just seems impossible to get over to sleep and where every little noise seems even louder and very annoying. The book is set at night and introduces us to lots of familiar areas but from the perspective of the night time scene, dark, quiet but also active and noisy. There is nothing scary in the book, indeed it is a good way to discuss with your child ...

...on a wonderful book named Guess How Much I Love You. This is specifically the Jigsaw Puzzle Book.
I discovered this book a few years ago at a christening in Pontefract. It was a fairly low key service conducted by the most odd female vicar. As part of her service, she read a story to the children present in the room. That story was Guess How Much I Love You. Since that day, we have been in love with this particular book and never tire of it.
Guess ... ...most definately best known for Guess How Much I Love You and it was this very book that was shortlisted for the 1994 Kurt Maschler award. It is one of the worlds best ever selling picture books.
