Advantages: great characters and plot
Disadvantages: slightly short book could use more pages

Exellent plot and the characters were exellently created with a very good use of imagery. Really gritty and exciting plot which keeps you on the edge of your seat. I personally sat at home for a whole weekend with this book and did not get bored, I was totaly engrosed. I really reccomend this book but you must read the first and the second in the series to really understand the plot. Te audience would most probably be teenagers beacause of the encapturing ... It's all about how important it is to smile and how we have so much more fun and enjoyment when we do. ( I must try to remember that on a bad day!) I bought this book for my godson as an Xmas present recently, I had been itching to do so as soon as I thought he would be able to read it. This was my absolute favourite book as a child. The storyline is set in the early years of the Second World War, and the main character is an evacuee to the countryside. This aspect of the Second World War always interests children as it is about them. The main character, William, is an abused and undernourished ...
