The second book in the 'Wind on Fire' series starts from a less familiar perspective and situation than its predecessor, 'The Wind Singer', which may be why I didn't feel as immediately engaged in the plot. Disadvantages: it's literally gripping, you'll hate being disturbed

These are the questions that are still in my head and I'll never find these things out until I've finished the second book. Snakehead by Anthony Horwitz. A brilliant book, to put it in short the final in the Alex Rider series and in my opinion the best. This book seems to be a notch up from the rest in reading quality it has a darker feel to it and its seems much more for adult. ...Alex(as always with the Alex ride books. The book is a lot more complex and has a lot more twist and surprises than the other books and it finally at the end reveals the biggest secret of all the books. But I am not going to say it because it would spoil it for all of you who haven't read it. Alex rider defiantly becomes more adult and moves on from the kiddie sort of books. Advantages: Memorable characters, appealling to all ages
