Does he pick at it, does he fuss, does he flip it in the air and goes on to ask more questions. We are then told exactly how a dinosaur does eat his food. The words are all spread out over 29 pages with only a few words on each page which is great for my 5 year old as he is now able to read most of them by himself and is not put off by there being loads of text in the one place. Unfortunately by the time we discovered it, he had grown out of all that although there are occasions when he still plays up a little bit and tries to convince us that one story more wouldn't be so bad. The best thing about this book is that it is done in a way that children will find amusing but will see that it's really better for them to behave. The pictures in the book are lovely and the detail is great the child can see clearly what's going on if they cant read and is looking at the book by themselves.
