Advantages: see review
Disadvantages: see review

...Lynne Reid Banks. Harry the poisonous centipede is the story of Harry, a young centipede who lives with his siblings and mother. To quote from the opening page- you may think that a centipede is not a very nice thing to be, but Harry thought it was fine. He'd never been anything else. Harry and his family communicate in centipedish . As there are no vowels in centipedish words sound very odd! In fact Harry is really called Hxzltl. Harry is not a ...
...that are juicy and munchy! Harry learns that some creatures are too dangerous to try and eat like flying swoopers and furry biters. The most dangerous creature of all however are hoo-mins. One day the centipedes tunnel fills with smoke and they are forced above ground to escape. The centipedes find themselves in a hoo-min house and are in great danger. As you may want to read this to your child I'm not going to tell you how it all ends! You will ... Read review

Make way for Noddy! (and his little library!)
Review of Noddy Lift the Flap Pocket Library - Enid Blyton by kingfisher111

Advantages: lovely little books
Disadvantages: none

...across the spine spelly out NODDY and you also see a picture of Noddy in his car. As you will probably have realised by now all the books feature Noddy and his toy town friends. Noddy seems to have been around for ever, but at the moment he is enjoying popularity with little children on Milkshake which is the children's programming on Channel 5. My youngest daughter really loves watching Noddy and all his friends so this little boxed set was an ...
...sure it will with these Noddy books. I like to encourge my daughter to be careful whilst at the same time wanting her to enjoy discovering things behind the flaps. At the end of the day, if we lose a few it's really not going to matter! Overall then, this is a very good little library of books for any child who is a Noddy fan. There is a lot to do in each book (but be aware there is no actual story) and also lots to talk about. I think it also helps ... Read review
