A step in the right direction

Advantages: Well written and engaging with excellent characterisation and a good plot
Disadvantages: Over too quickly! Abrupt ending which is not altogether satisfying

'Break the ice' Meet Armpit. Hes not had the best start in life, as you can probably already guess. Hes essentially a good kid whos had a few unlucky breaks and after getting into a fight over some spilled popcorn at a cinema he was sent to th ...

Advantages: It was very imaginative and unique, always had lots of mysteries going on.
Disadvantages: Certain characters could have been more developed.

I picked up this book in a library a while ago and I can remember thinking to myself "What a load of rubbish, a boy who turns into a fox!" and I definitely wasn't interested in reading it. At a glance, it seemed quite childish and probably wouldn't be ver ...
