Introducing a child to reading through simple words

Advantages: lovely simple sentences that are easy for kids to read and build their confidence
Disadvantages: a little boring after its been read a few times.

Advantages: Attractive textures, pictures and text, good quality book
Disadvantages: none (unless you count having to read it over and over and over again...)
