just as good as the well known make
Review of Boots Pain Relief Paracetamol Suspension by MICH51

Advantages: fantastic price
Disadvantages: a syringe would be handy

As a childrens nurse and mother of two young children I believe that a paractamol based syrup for children is a must for any medicine cabniet for all those unexpected temperatures that children suddenly develop at two in the morning. This product contains exactly the same amount of the active ingredient as the well known brand and therefore works just as well, it has a pleasant fruity smell and a pleasant taste (yes i have tried it) which appealed ...
...to like it a little too much and always wanted more! The only downside to this prodct is that it comes with a spoon rather than a syringe or dropper which i find much easier to use when administering it to a grumpy toddler with a temperature. In general a fantastic produt at a much better cost than the well known brand. ... Read review

Harry's Daily Boost!
Review of Boots Multivitamin Syrup 4 months - 12 years by mummy2harry

Advantages: Good tasting, easy to take, wide range of vitamins contained
Disadvantages: None really

...syrup and headed home. Boots Multi-Vitamin Syrup is suitable for babies from 4 months old, until they are 12 years old. However, most children may want to progress to the chewy vitamins when they are old enough to do so (which is 3 years old) so perhaps this syrup is more intended for the younger age group. The syrup is sold in Boots stores amongst the Vitamins and other Supplements, so it's pretty easy to find. It comes in a brown glass bottle, ...
...this syrup costs £2.19 from Boots the Chemist, so it'll be about £3 a month for a 1-3 year old which is nothing really. At the moment, Boots have all Vitamins at 3 for 2, so I got 3 months supply of Harry's vitamins for £4.40. The product has a long expiration date too (my bottles have 07-2009 so plenty of time to use it) on, so its worth stocking up when these offers are on. I hope my review has been helpful to you. Vitamins are essential to children ... Read review

Review of Boots First Aid Antiseptic Spray by pink_champagne

Advantages: Doesn't sting, cheap, easy to use
Disadvantages: none

...came across a bottle of Boots Antiseptic Spray. This is a product I had bought ages ago and forgotten about, but I put it with the rest of my first aid stuff for the next time I required it. Less than 24 hours later, and I had somehow managed to cut the back of my hand, so out came the spray… ~About the product~ This is an Antiseptic spray which is really just an alternative to antiseptic creams. The benefits of using a spray over a cream, are ...
...hygienic, and also it's easier to apply on hard to reach areas. The spray contains Cetrimide, a well known antiseptic which is also used in brand name products such as Savlon. ~Packaging~ This comes in a white bottle with a green lid. There is lots of information on the back of the bottle about the ingredients and different things you can use the product for. The spray nozzle is easily depressed with only minimum pressure, and swivels round for ... Read review
