Chloe Shower Gel

The new fragrance from Chloe came out in 2008, it's their signature scent called Chloe. As I generally cannot afford any of the clothes from Chloe I thought their perfume was the next best thing and I was not disappointed with it. When I received the perfume as a Christmas presetn it came with a bottle of the lotiona nd then as I liked it so much I also bought a bottle of the shower gel to really boost teh fragrance on my skin.

As I generally cannot afford any of the clothes from Chloe I thought their perfume was the next best thing and I was not disappointed with it. When I received the perfume as a Christmas presetn it came with a bottle of the lotiona nd then as I liked it so much I also bought a bottle of the shower gel to really boost teh fragrance on my skin.

The fragrance of Chloe classified as a Floral Oriental perfume. It contains top notes of peony, lychee and freesia, heart notes of rose, magnolia and muguet and base notes of amber and cedar. So what does this actually smell like? Well, it is definitely a very floral smelling product. It is quite a strong smelling gel, quite heavy and I would say that the floral smell is very bold. It is not light and fresh like some floral fragrances. Saying that though, it is a very nice smell and definitely memorable. I would describe it as quite sweet too and long lasting. I use it in the shower in the morning, as well as using the prefume and lotion and it does last all day.

They market this scent as one to capture the creative, confident individuality of the Chloe woman. This may have something to do with the fact that the bottle is so lovely and classic/upmarket looking.

The bottle is square and has a ribbed pattern all the way through it which gives it a very classic bottle look. The top of the bottle has a chrome around it with Chloe written on it. The stopper at the top is chrome too and round. The liquid inside almost has a kind of peach colour too it . There is a little ribbon tied around the top of the bottle too which makes it look very fashionable in my opinion. It is clean and simple and very effective.

They do bring their fashion house into play too when describing the perfume. In their marketing they say that "In the same way as Chloé fashion playfully twists notions of femininity, so too does the scent as it takes the classic rose and ingeniously translates it into a vibrant perfume: translucent and warm, playful and seductive."

It is a fairly expensive shower product but as a treat it is well worth and a product I definitely recommend.
