Advantages Advantages Moylesy, fun, humour, great team, Roy Walker!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Moylesy, not enough news for some people, I miss most of the show!

I have to say, when I first heard that Chris Moyles was taking over the radio show that he coveted for so long, I was pretty gutted. Partly because I really liked Sara Cox but mostly because I thought Chris Moyles was an idiot - to put it very politely. He made no secret of the fact that he wanted the show, and joking or not, that he could do a much better job than Sara Cox. I thought he was rude, conceited and arrogant and was adamant that Radio 1 had lost themselves a listener. When it came to it though, I was too curious not to at least give him a chance. I'd rarely listened to his ... more

Chris Moyles can be likened to Marmite - you either love him, or you hate him. After listening to Sara Cox presenting the breakfast show from 2000, i did not think anyone could replace, nevermind excel at delivering this essential slot! Millions of people are entertained, Monday to Friday by the Moyles from 6:30AM until 10AM. This 37 year old, Leeds born and bred DJ has forever had an interest in radio and began his journey whilst at school. His main break came when he started working for Capital FM but this was not due to last long, as he had a falling out with Neil Fox. Prior to this he'd ... more

Advantages Advantages It's good when there's a guest presenter

Disadvantages Disadvantages When it's the Idiot, it's rubbish

The Chris Moyles Show. What a pathetic pile of drivel, interspersed by some good music once in a while. I used to listen to it all the time whilst driving to work and I did enjoy it once upon a time. But no longer. The show is fronted by the lovely Chris Moyles. It’s on Radio One in the morning and it lasts for a good few hours. It involves some music (usually music that’s in the charts at the moment), some celebrity interviews, lots of random chatter and some funny bits. The lovely Chris Moyles is backed up by some of his henchmen. One of them used to be Comedy Dave but I’m not sure if he’s ... more

Advantages Advantages Interesting, comforting and entertaining

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Limited selection

Chris Moyle’s; if you say that name to someone, you’re likely to get one of two reactions. “What a ~*&$” or “Legend”. Basically, you love him or loathe the man so intensely that your capillaries burst throughout your body. Personally I think that Chris Moyles is a man of many talents, and, compared to many other radio presenters, he is a blessed relief but he is also a strange creature. I would not say that I have a ‘favourite’ radio presenter. Listening to Chris Moyles in the afternoon was like listening to a funny friend, someone who you would go to the pub with. Someone that you would buy ... more
