Diorella by Christian Dior, considered one of the classics that helped create the Dior legend I believe it was first produced in 1972 and is still going strong today which tells me how well liked and exceptional this perfume really is.

The Scent

Described "as a dazzling, dynamic fragrance" it certainly is! It is a very light and feminine everyday fragrance which contains Sicilian lemon and basil, ...
...It is not overpowering at all but it's very noticeable and really can be worn everyday, in fact I like it that much I wear it for any occasion. A light fresh floral fragrance is the best way I can describe this. People will always say "you smell nice, what is it?" and I am very happy to tell them and convince them to buy it as well.

I am very fussy when it comes to perfume; I like to try before I buy. I started sniffing just about all the bottles at the counter in Boots. Sometimes I like to splash out a bit on my perfume and treat myself once in a while to a nice designer one, with so many out there it's hard to choose so I thought I would try one that I have never bought.

I like just about all the perfumes on the Dior stand but decided to plump for the Diorella 50ml eau de toilette spray. I came home and went about searching the web for the best price.

It is not overpowering at all but it's very noticeable and really can be worn everyday, in fact I like it that much I wear it for any occasion. A light fresh floral fragrance is the best way I can describe this. People will always say "you smell nice, what is it?" and I am very happy to tell them and convince them to buy it as well.

If you fancy a whiff ask for a sniff next time you are at a perfume counter it's the best way to really try it for yourself as it is so hard to try and describe.

A couple of squirts in the morning and it will keep you smelling wonderful until you get home from work. With so little sprays it makes your perfume last at lot longer.

The Packaging

The box is square and mainly a blue/green colour and looks quite plain but exceptionally classy with the silver oval on the front telling you which perfume it is.

The bottle itself is a simple glass oval shape with the spray head on the top in the middle. I feel the design is chic and oozes class, femininity and elegance. There is some writing on the bottle which of course tells you the name etc.

Prices

I have found these vary greatly. The perfume is available in 50ml and 100ml bottles. I bought the 50ml from I smell Nice.

Overall Summary

It is very nice and I just love it. It's quite nice to be noticed all the time. I feel nice and special when I wear this perfume, which is saying something.
