i must admit i was a bit suprised when my husband brought me this for my last birthday as previously we have had bad experiences when it comes to him buying me perfume,
example*i absolutley hate calvin klein eternityand had told my husband countless times before,so when christmas came and to my unpleasnt suprise what did i unwrap(you guessed)eternity.
i didnt have the guts to tell him i hated it so it went in the draw for about a year then he noticed it unused.i had to explain.this is why i cringed when he brought me perfume again.
how wrong i was as this is now one of my favorite perfumes around.anyway about the perfume.
*packaging*(the box) the box itself is quite a nice one it is square shape.this design is where the box has two halves(one bigger than the other).one box inserts into the other so it shuts nicely.then the box is inserted into a plastic sleeve which gives it that extra look of class.the box is different and bigger than the one shown in the photoas this perfume came as a gift set which included body lotion. there is a pretty picture of the actual bottle of perfume itself on the front of the box with the words j'adore dior in gold writing above and below the picture.
*the perfume bottle* the perfume comes in a 30ml spray bottlewhich is very pretty and unusual .the bottle is round and made from glass with a plastic gold spiral effect lid with a see through plastic ball ontop.
the bottle is approx five inches high including bottle top.
*the fragrance* the scent is very fruity and floral .i love it.it is quite strong but not too over powering when put on sparingly.personly i prefer to spray one sprayon my wrist then rub together than spray one on each.and then one spray on the neck as it is quite strong.ive oversprayed before and this made my husband sneeze for hours.ive noticed i do get a lot of comments when wearing this fragrance.
this is what dior have to say about this perfume. "the absolute femininity.an eternal emotion.a fragrance legend both magnificent and mysterious,an opulent fruity floral bouquet"
with this perfume you can wear it any time of the day,its not one of those that is only for day or night .
the smell is so distinctive and lasts all day.
*the price* as my husband cannot remember where he brought this or how much he paid.i had a look at the boots website and there are selling it for £29.50 just for the bottle of perfume.which i think is expensive when you think its only a 30ml bottle.
i do think it is well worth its money though,i just hope iget it again this year as i am running low.
*overall* i think this is a lovely perfume with great presentation and a lovely smell.i would recomend to any women whos looking for something different.
just a little info about the body lotion.this is in a 50ml tear shaped plastic bottle which is also very pretty.it has a gold lid which has the inials cd on the top and on the top of that there is another plastic see through lid.i do not use this as nuch as the perfume but i do like it as i have sensitive skin and normaly react to certain products but this is fine.it doesnt leave your skin feeling greasy,and absorbs quite quickly.the fragrance is exacly the same as the perfume and is long lasting too.
