FACT: Dior's J'adore is now officially my favourite perfume.
WHY I BOUGHT IT..... Having previously been a No.1 fan of Dior Addict, I decided to have a change and try J'adore instead to see if it could live up to Addict's standards. The reuslt was that I was so impressed by J'adore that I now prefer it to Addict.
WHAT'S IT LIKE? J'adore has a heavy, sweet, floral scent that is perfect for nights out and special occasions. It has a timeless, classy smell. It's strong (but not overbearing) and because of this you can get away with using just a small amount, so a bottle lasts for ages - a 30ml bottle lasts me around 5-6 weeks, using an average of 3-4 applications a week. Also, the scent doesn't wear off quickly, so I tend to only need to apply it once before I go out, then not have to reapply. It even withstands smoky nightclub atmospheres! :)
The bottle is a beautiful glass tear-drop shaped one, with a gold top and a glass ball on top, which looks really classy and pretty on your dressing table. In fact, it would make a lovely glass ornament once it's empty because it's not totally obvious that it's a perfume bottle! The outer packaging is very nice too - pearl effect with gold embossed lettering. Unlike some perfume boxes, it's durable and won't break easily, which is good if you like to keep your perfume boxed.
WHERE DID I BUY IT AND WHAT'S THE COST? I first bought J'adore in Wilkinsons, at £23 for 30ml EDP, although it is a few pounds more than this in most other places (e.g. Boots, The Fragrance Shop). I would say that this is fairly expensive, but as I said earlier it lasts for ages and considering the high quality I didn't mind paying extra.
ANY OTHER REASONS WHY IT'S SO FAB? I always receive lots of compliments about J'adore whenever I wear it, which is always fab for a self-confidence boost. Plus, it makes me feel as though I have exquisite taste!
I'm now on my third bottle of J'adore and I can't see myself stopping using it any time soon. Unless Dior bring out an even better perfume that is!!! J'adore is a definite reccommendation.

J'Adore by Christian Dior is a sparkling fresh floral bouquet that is deeply sensual, totally feminine and as contemporary as you are. It exudes top notes of tangy mandarin and ivy leaves, softened by the champaca flower, the heart of rare orchids, roses, and violets, with a base of damascus plum, amaranth wood, and blackberry musk.
Advantages: jadore by dior is a really nice smell and lastes for a really long time Disadvantages: it is a bit expensive and i don't really like the colour of the bottle much
