I first came across Miss Cherie Dior in one of my glossy magazines over Christmas last year. The perfume was being advertised over a two page spread with a small sachet tester in the corner. If I'm honest I have never been a real fan of Christian Dior perfumes and always found them too strong however curiosity gave way and I decided to tear the sachet open and have a whiff! No sooner had I tore the sachet open I was hit by a strong fruity sweet smell. I liked it.
The advertisement claimed Miss Dior Cherie was inspired by Dior's Couture designer John Galliano. The perfume contains notes of Green Tangerine, Strawberry Leaves, Violet, Pink Jasmine, Wild Strawberry and sweet tones of Popcorn. The base tones are Patchouli Crystalline Musk. After reading the ingredients I was a little hesitant as I really hate the smell of patchouli. I decided to rub a small amount on my wrists as I was keen to see If I could smell the patchouli and if would still like it after a couple of hours. Several hours passed and Miss Cherie Dior was still present. Where as previous perfumes had completely worn off after a few hours I was still able to quite clearly smell the lovely sweet scent of Cherie Dior on my wrists, and thankfully not had even the smallest whiff of Patchouli. Pleased with the results I put Miss Cherie Dior to the top of my Christmas list and hoped to find some under the Christmas tree...
Well Christmas came and Christmas went and Santa didn't deliver my much wanted Perfume so I decided to go out and buy it myself. On entering my local department store and heading over to the Dior section I saw it. Miss Cherie Dior comes in a baby pink box with Miss Dior Cherie embossed in silver on the front. The bottle is a Clear glass rectangle shape with a screw on lid with a silver metal bow at the top. The bottle also has Miss Dior Cherie embossed in silver on the front. The packaging and the smell of the perfume give it a really girly girl feel and I think this has been marketed with Younger girls in mind.
I been using Miss Dior Cherie now for 7 months and still love it as much as the day I bought it. I tend to wear it everyday and find only one spray is necessary. The perfume is so sweet that any more that one spray is too heavy. I have found that one spray will take me right through the day and even after a seven hour day at work I can still smell Miss Dior. The only downside to Miss Dior Cherie is the price. A 50ml bottle retails at £42 and a 100ml bottle will set you back £60. To begin with I bought the 50ml bottle, I was a bit reluctant to buy the 100ml bottle and spend sixty pounds on a perfume that I may get sick of after a few months. (I tend to change my perfumes quite often!) Having said that though I have now had the same bottle for 7 months and despite using daily I still have half of the perfume left. Despite the initial expense and gasping at the price tag it is working out to be value for money.
Overall I would recommend this perfume to anyone with a penchant for Sweet and Fruity perfumes. As it is so sweet it will not pander to everyone's taste but it is a lovely scent and I would definitely recommend anyone to give it a try. Despite the price tag it tends to last much longer than other cheaper perfumes. Thanks For reading,
Victoria

An impertinent gourmand and modern chypre fragrance - for the young woman who is elegant, more
yet boldly independent and charmingly irreverent. A blend of classic chic and sophistication, with a touch of irreverence this scent has a personality all of its own. Top notes of green tangerine, strawberry leaves. Heart notes of violette, pink jasmine, caramelised popcorn and strawberry sorbet. Base notes of fresh patchouli and crystalline musk.
