...As any sufferer knows, a panic attack brings about the most terrifying physical symptoms which can all but disable you.
After years of these dreadful experiences I decided to read up on what was happening to my body during the attacks so I could better understand the physical impact.
This book was a revelation. As well as citing case studies, ChristineIngham has a wealth of advice and information to help you fight back. What surprised me most was that a panic attack is actually the body's way of protecting you - commonly known as the fight or flight response.
I won't pretend that my problems end there, I have a long history of anxiety but I've not had an attack since reading this book. You calmly recite to yourself the reasoning behind each physical sensation and the panic subsides....

Christine is a the story of Arnold Cunningham who falls in love with a classic 1958 Plymouth Fury car. Against all the advice Arnold is given, he purchases this old wreck of a car.
Arnie's friends and family soon begin to notice worrying changes in Arnold's personality and his obsession with his car.
Just how does Christine, his beloved vehicle go from being fit for the junk yard to a gleaming red beauty when Arnie never works on her? Why do people who upset Arnold start to disappear? Who is in control, Arnold or Christine?
This is a magnificent book, Stephen King at his very best. If you have not read his older books, I can thoroughly recommend them. This particular book is so creepy and horrifying, you won't be able to put it down. I have read this book many...
