...I bought this car new for my wife in December 2001 as our previous car was getting a bit long in the tooth ( Nissan Prairie , which was a great car and never let us down) , which is something that cannot be said for the Voyager.
The car came with a 3 year warranty , thankfully ,as we had to use it quite a lot . It has to be mentioned that the dealer who supplied the car ( Bickets of Kilmarnock) were pretty good in that they would pick it up and drop off a courtesy car whenever any work was needing done , which meant we got to drive a P.T cruiser (twice), a Chrysler Neon automatic (once) , a petrol Voyager (twice) , an automatic diesel Voyager (once) and a Cherokee jeep (once), but then we did pay £ 25,000 for the car and expected good service.

...items" has become seized and must be replaced. If you have your car serviced regularly, get them to lift out the injectors to make sure they are OK, it only takes 20 mins but could save you a fortune!!!!
SOmeone asked for more information on the car for this review, although i accept this forum is to help people decide when making the all important purchase, this was really a review on additional things to consider when making the purchase. I have been told today by 2 non-chrysler dealers that these type of problem are becoming quite common on Diesel Voyagers of this age, so with that in mind it is a fantastic car to own for 3 years and up until this issue the best car i have ever owned....

I've been driving this car for over a year now, and that's a long time for me, so it must be good.
Bought second hand from a dealer, I paid just £1300 for this car, plus a Rover 800 that you couldn't give away (I have the sneaking suspicion that I would have paid less if I hadn't traded in the Rover). As a connoisseur of the second hand car market (twenty cars in twenty-seven years) I know that it's all a game, no matter what you think you've checked, there will be something you'll have to pay out for. So when I buy a car I kick the tyres, take it for a test drive and factor in £500 for the repairs I'll need.

With no particular make or model in mind, it was the look of the Neon that attracted me, a little bit sporty without pretending to be something it's not, and a friendly, smiley...
