MPV - Front (FWD) - Automatic, 4 Speed Automatic Gearbox - 3301 cc - Max Speed: 111 mph - 156, 172, 174 bhp - Petrol - Available Trims: LE, Limited XS, LX, Limited, SE
Stunning. Thats one word to describe the immense presence this car has. I personally think its beautiful, while others may find it a more aquired taste.
This was originally a concept car, that made it into production because of so many enquiries at one of the International Motor Shows. The range consists of a coupe, and the cabriolet - The only engine size available is a beautifully gutsy 3.2V6, which, with a 6speed gearbox, should please even the most enthusiastic driver!
As for colours, the range is limited. To be honest though, I would only have this car in black. Looks fantastic in black.
You are looking at around £24,999 for an entry model. Alternatives are the Audi TT, and the new BMW 1 series. But if you want to stand out from the crowd, and go for a car thats slightly different - go for the Crossfire. You won't be ...
Advantages: Good to drive, front seat space Disadvantages: Fuel bills, it's a Vauxhall
Although I don't own one of these I use them at work daily so can give quite a good idea of what they are like to drive and run around in.
First of all, and the reason why people would buy one of these, the 3.2V6 engine. To desribe it I will use what one of my colleagues said "It's a beast". Quite true to a point the engine is very good pushing out nearly 210bhp through the front wheels. It accelerates quick enough for road use but as with anything with an engine that size, use the performance and you'll pay for it at the pump. Don't expect more than 16mpg around town regardless of what the official figures say. Curising it's very good and will purr along quite happily at 70mph on the motorway doing about 30mpg so all in all it's not too bad.
Interior wise it's very roomy but rear leg room is poor, expecially when compared ...
Advantages: Stunning look, Mercedes Benz chasis Disadvantages: a tad too retro than revolutionary
The Crossfire is propelled by a 3.2 litre V6, 215 bhp...that tops-out at 150 mph...it's got plenty of power and alot of pick-up, it doesn't go like a Porsche boxster, but it really handles nice...the body and chassis have been stiffened to maintain the solid reputation like the coupe, which just feels so good with the top down. I really like the look of the soft-top as opposed to the coupe..it has 22 second cycle automatic soft roof which stows in the boot, with a hard tourneau cover...but you must manually release the header latch and adjust the separator panel in the boot to make room, so you do lose boot space..but who cares when you can drop the "top" and cruise along in a cool looking car like no mortal man or woman ! The Crossfire roadster handles very well, seating is comfortable and it corners like its on rails.
I really like ...
