The car is a DaimlerChrysler one of their first automobiles which is basically a 50:50 based on Mercedes SLK chassis, with about 50% parts are sourced from Mercedes, which was very evident from some of the controls, toggle & light switches, air vents and things. Advantages: Stunning look, Mercedes Benz chasis Disadvantages: a tad too retro than revolutionary
The Crossfire is propelled by a 3.2 litre V6, 215 bhp...that tops-out at 150 mph...it's got plenty of power and alot of pick-up, it doesn't go like a Porsche boxster, but it really handles nice...the body and chassis have been stiffened to maintain the solid reputation like the coupe, which just feels so good with the top down. I really like the look of the soft-top as opposed to the coupe..it has 22 second cycle automatic soft roof which stows in ... ...release the header latch and adjust the separator panel in the boot to make room, so you do lose boot space..but who cares when you can drop the "top" and cruise along in a cool looking car like no mortal man or woman ! The Crossfire roadster handles very well, seating is comfortable and it corners like its on rails.

I really like the look of the soft-top as opposed to the coupe..it has 22 second cycle automatic soft roof which stows in the boot, with a hard tourneau cover...but you must manually release the header latch and adjust the separator panel in the boot to make room, so you do lose boot space..but who cares when you can drop the "top" and cruise along in a cool looking car like no mortal man or woman ! I really like this car..its just got great lines from the groves in the hood to the side vents to the big wheels it's got 19 inch wheels at the back, 18 inch at the front, plus the roll-bars behind the head-rest...this is really an exciting car, fun to drive. Inside the system is loaded, it has the infinity sound system 6 speakers...it also has a GPS which is kinda amazing for the amount of cramped space. The car is a DaimlerChrysler one of their first automobiles which is basically a 50:50 based on Mercedes SLK chassis, with about 50% parts are sourced from Mercedes, which was very evident from some of the controls, toggle & light switches, air vents and things. Definitely alot of commonality with the Mercedes cockpit. The drivetrain / transmission comes is a 6-speed manual (or 5-speed automatic)....the only thing is it has this rather shiny gear-shift knob concept, which looks great, but felt kinda slippery, I think I'd rather have a leather wrap on the gear shift knob...With the top-down I noticed I didn't feel alot of wind or side eddy-currents..I like that. The other thing I wished it had a signature exhaust system, it's really quiet almost too quiet for a roadster type car..I almost wished it had a little-bit more muffler sound to it..
Advantages: Good looking, easy drive. Disadvantages: Large blind spot when looking round to reverse.
215bhp Roadster manual. Very appealing looks exterier. Interior trim is a little tacky but cock pit well set out . Steady at speeds of 100+ Speeds of 135 feels like theres a lot of poke left. Steering positive at 145mph stops ok as well. Good handling in a straight line,(0.62= 6.5 seconds), does not like bends at serious speed even though ground well covered by lots of wide rubber, back end very light. Typically american. NOT for the serious driver ...

Advantages: Real womans car. Compact, road holding and safe but still sexy. Disadvantages: Cant think of any
...months old not from a chrysler garage and they have been awful. You wouldnt expect fuel consumption to be more than satisfactory with a 3.2 ltr engine and 0 - 60 in 5.2. Its a crowd puller when ever i go back to it there is someone to tell me what a great car it is or ask what it is. Small boys shout at me as i drive past. Its def a car to get noticed in. ...
