Advantages Fast, Sporty, Comfortable

Disadvantages Pray that nothing breaks!

I had the pleasure of owning a Chrysler Sebring a few years ago. I was in love with it. Great handling, wonderful features, nice looking. Then the car hit about 75K miles. Everything started to fall apart on it. All at once too! Like it had been programmed to self destruct. The transmission was the worst. I kept taking it to the dealer, and they would not fix it, or could not fix it. I found someone that would put a whole new transmission in for about $7000.00! Still owing a huge loan on the car, I could not afford that. I drove around in reverse until I finally sold it. This is a great car, just sell it before 75K miles! Also, make sure you ask for anti-lock brakes. I found out that and cruise control are options.

Felt like my Astra was going that way for a bit but (touch wood and fingers crossed) it's been ok for awhile. Welcome to Ciao, Sharron xxx

Im inclined to agree with you about some cars simply self-destructing after they reach a certain mileage (usually around the 75k - 100k mark) cars could be built to last much longer but wheres the profit in that?
