...Think!)this is a big hit. Magners can be drunk anytime as it only contains 4.5% alchol per litre so it will take a lot to get drunk on. I have drunk quite a bit during our heatwave recently and long may it continue. I usually put lots of ice in the glass to keep it cool and enhance the ritual flavours. ...Organic Cidar... I find Strongbow is one of the best as its very appley, has a beautiful golden colour, and is a good strength at 5.3% I would recommend it is drunk when chilled and with ice. I bought 3 cans at 55p each! I think this is a bargain! from Tesco. I had a difficult day at work and this was very cheap to help me wind down while watching telly. ...is quite different. I think Strongbow is more fizzier than the Magners, and the colour is more golden than orange, it also tastes sharper. The apples used for Strongbow are a different variety - it uses bitter sweet apples and sweetners to give a dry/fresh taste. ...sourced from the town of Kopparberg and made to a traditional Swedish recipe which dates back to the 1930s. It is 4.5% abv (you can also buy a non alcoholic version) so it is up there with lower end premium lagers strength wise and is best served chilled. I had scrumpy jacks at a party ages ago and loved it. I couldnt find it for ages after that until just a few weeks ago. overall, it is stronger that larger, and cheaper, but the same can be said about almost any cider. as a cider, it tastes nice and sweet and fruity (rather than chemically like many ciders), and didnt even give me much a hangover (i expected it would from the state i was in that night). the only bad point is that it isnt an extremely ... ...support we were steered to Moles Black Rat Cider. Black Rat Cider is a West Country scrumpy and comes in two varieties; traditional and vintage. Traditional is cloudy and has an alcohol content of 6.0%. Vintage is much clearer and weighs in at a hefty 7.3%. ...frightening to look at. Moles Black Rat Cider is only really available on draught in the pubs around Avon, Somerset and Wiltshire. I have never seen it on sale in supermarkets or off-licences. I have enquired, however, and there is now a bottled form. I have tried to find an online site for Black Rat without success. I think those Somerset types want to keep it to themselves!
