Okay, my dipit mum bought this shampoo for me on Friday and I didn't quite know that it's for men until I read the opinions on Ciao!
I saw when using it, that it was to help add volume and weight to hair, i.e for bald middle-aged "trendy" men who like the shiny modern sea coloured blue of the bottle. But, despite the fact that I'm a 15 year old girl who, I can assure you, has ALL her hair, ran out of her Timotei range and was forced to use it.
So, in the shower I poured some of the extremely thick white goop onto my paws and spread it through my hair. The stuff is really thick, for approximately shoulder length hair you need a good palm-full. I massaged it in well and followed the typical "Shampoo, lather and rinse" instructions.
However, when I emerged from my shower I was completely surprised by the disgusting tangled, roughness of my hair. I couldn't even pull my hand through my hair. Certainly thickened but also tangled.
There's a great 2 for 1 offer on in Tescos right now, my kind-yet-dim mother bought the spray on conditioner as well. Now, my thick yucky hair isn't really suitable for the only shampoo wash (i.e it turns into a bale of hay) so I, admittedly, liberally sprayed the stuff onto my mop of hair.
So I went upstaris and tried to dry my hair. The annoying fact was, it wouldn't dry. it was so packed with grease ("shine"!!!) that I looked like an oil rig! So, I had to demand to my dad that he went to get so nice safe Timotei shampoo and conditioner and after a few washes, my hair returned back to its nice normality.
The shampoo promises to give thickness, fullness and control to hair. it does give fullness and thickness but not control. I can't advise it for anyone with long hair, but I'm awaiting my dads verdict on it (he's on of those "trendy" middle-aged bald men!)
Its costs around £2 really, I don't think its worth the money. Avaliable from most Tesco-y type shops.

I must disagre however, because I have highlighted hair and this shampoo worked wonders on my hair, left it really smooth, soft and thick.
