Cisco 7604 - modular expansion base

Advantages: Easy to set up, Great sound quality, Easy to use
Disadvantages: None, but its pricey for what it is

...This is a great product, however I would not recommend it if you frequently use your laptop whilst travelling. I would however recommend this laptop to those who have laptops at home. This is a great way to store your laptop. I found it easy to attach and quick to set up with no problems at all. The sound quality is great and I found it to be good overall. However this to me seems a more specialist product and the expansion base doesn't really offer anything outstanding. Sure it is a great product if you have the money to buy it, but I dont see it as particularly necessary for the laptop, it really is a glorified speaker system, but is one of those things thats clever but not necessarily required for your laptop. Advantages: Modular so there's no mess with cables, made by CoolerMaster
Disadvantages: The sheathing around the cables can make them hard to handle

...complicated with all the various leads that were included but that was because this power supply is modular, so there's not much chance that you'll need all these leads anyway. The PSU also came with an instruction booklet which showed how to plug the cables in to the power supply and how to use the PCi-E 6 pin - 8 pin adapter, as well as a few of the more simple tasks such as installing the PSU and turning it on. I found this power supply very easy to install in my case and insert all the plugs into. They all plugged into the PSU with a firm 'click' and there was little to no play on them when they were plugged in. It was tham same sort of idea on the other end when plugging it into the various devices, each plug had an interesting connecting mechanism which made it easy to disconnect any of the devices, should you need to. Advantages: Very Cheap, with lots of features
Disadvantages: Will help with CCNA, but may stuggle with CCNP

...I bought one of these routers off ebay to help with my upcoming (Cisco) CCNA exam. These are by no means cutting edge routers, and are obsolete now as they only support 10Mbps via their AUI (lan) port and support a limited amount of protocols. The router itself has one AUI port, which when used with a transceiver can connect to either another router or a switch (at 10Mbps); 2 serial ports which can be configured with a routing protocol such as frame relay to connect to another switch or ISP data terminal equipment, a console port to configure the router itself, and an AUX port for modem connection. Though well past it's sell by date, the switch is perfect to get to grips with Ciscos IOS (internetwork Operating System) and set up simple routed networks in conjuction with other routers and switches.
