Advantages: High speed internet, long range, security, file sharing, print sharing, easy set-up. Disadvantages: None to my knowledge
...is concerned, the router has a built in firewall and my router has a WEP security code which is a combinaton of 13 digits or letters.
I bought the router for £100 around 2months ago and have no regrets, it was the perfect solution for sharing my internet wirelessly around my household at high speed. Another great feature is now that both computers/laptops are wireless, i dont have to go through the boring AOL sign on page to go onto the internet or infact use an internet connection (such as itunes store).
I highley reccommend this router....

Advantages: Great performance for wireless and wired routing. Great firewall Disadvantages: Expensive, lots of reboots for configuration, can't turn off radios.
...ft above the device the software a fluctuating strength of 30% is indicated. The further in the first two indicate higher elevations above the device -so reception will be affected by wiring, pipes, insulation and a thick floor. The fourth location is outside in the middle of a garden square. Although not accurate, the distance is approximately 90-100m but link strength averaging 10%. Bandwidth tests were done 20 times with Qcheck and then averaged. At all ranges MP3 encoded at 224ABR could be streamed without any hiccup. Wireless client computer was an Inspiron 8200 (2.2P4M), another endpoint was a P4 1.7 desktop also on the LAN side, with a dual 1.13Ghz PIII server connected to the WAN side through a Cisco switch. Averages given to accuracy of 1Mbps unless stated otherwise.

Advantages: Picks up any wireless Internet connection, works well with PS2, LAN play as well Disadvantages: None
..., the adapter will be able to pick up the wireless connection and uses it to connect you, the gamer, to the world of online gaming on your console and the best thing about it is, there is no cables running to the point of where your console is placed.
OR 2. If you have a pair of the game adapters, then you can setup LAN play by allowing these adapters to form a "cable-less cable" between two consoles for brilliant head-to-head gaming either in the same room or across a building, possibly in different rooms. Genius!
Another great thing about this piece of kit is that it is driver-free. this means that it does not need any software to make it work on the console. If you tend to set a profile channel up, there is a CD with a setup program so you can configure the profile you want to use for gaming without installing any software. Insert the CD...

Over the last few months I've tried Wireless ADSL routers from 4 different manufacturers, using 54g wireless cards with WPA encryption.
The Belkin one would randomly refuse to allow 1 or 2 wireless clients to connect.
The Netgear one had very poor... more
Having got very fed up with the unpredictability of the Nintendo USB WiFi adapter, I decided I neeeded a wired internet connection for my Wii. It would be faster, and more reliable than the wireless connecton, which would in turn mean I'd be keeping more more
