Advantages: Lightweight, slim, beautiful design, great value for money Disadvantages: possibly bend cards if stored for long periods of time (untested)
...I previously carried a small USB key on my keyring as my portable memory solution. But I found that more and more, I was having to transfer information from either a PDA or digital camera, and a USB key just didn't work for this.
So I found the solution in the SanDisk SD Plus memorycard - it is the size of a normal SD memorycard, but also folds in half to reveal a USB adapter which can be plugged into any USB port. The Minolta SD-CF1 is an adapter for those with a whole load of SD (Secure Digital) type cards, who also have a CF (Compact Flash) compatible camera too. Why should I need to buy a 512Mb CF for my Minolta, when I have a perfectly good 512Mb SD card for my brand new Megxon? Well with this device, I won't of course.
