Cisco IP 7912G

I use this phone in my halls of residence at university and have to say that it is brilliant. As the phone was here when I arrived I cannot comment on it's value for money but I must say that it really does it's job well. I, and my other flat mates, are always using them to communicate with each other. They always connect very quickly and once connected the speech is very clear. I have also used them to call home landlines a few times and this too is very effective. The only slight down points of the phone are that the earpiece volume should really be a little louder, it is adjustable, but I would prefer to have it a bit louder. Also, I still have not found a way to talk to someone using the loud speaker. When checking voicemail this is easy, although I am sure that there is a way.

All in all, I think that this is a very good phone, especially for what I use it for. I have not had a problem with it yet.
