Advantages: fast and setup Disadvantages: Instructions
...If your looking to upgrade then this is it for you although it may look terrifying it isn't and in fact it great value for money in my opinion you should definaltley by this card because of the impact is has.
Although there is one major draw back which is setting it up inwhich if your looking to set it up your self like i did then your in for a struggle because the instructions for it only go so far so and so when i tryed contacting the manufacteur for help all they did was pass me around from call centre to call centre inwhich this really racked up my phone bill and overall i ended up going to a technology shop and getting them to give me some help on installing it.
Overall it is a good product the only problem is installing it but most people tend to go to a computer shop. I m just awkward and try doing it myself....

Advantages: Good software bundle, cheap, works well. Disadvantages: Only stereo out on analogue
...and an existing onboard sound card.
After installation both the original sound card and the new external MP3+ worked fine. I decided to disable the onboard sound via the BIOS though.
Hardware
The unit itself is small, light and comes with a bracket for easy attachment to a laptop screen. Despite its size it has a generous selection of socketry. There are left/right line in and out connectors (gold plated) as well optical (TOSLink) in and out on one side and a headphone output/microphone input on the other. Connecting a pair of headphones disables the output of the line out jacks which is convenient if you want a swap back and forth between the speakers and headphones. A small built in volume thumb wheel and an analogue/digital switch completes the external features. When data flows to the device, a small blue LED on the top flickers which...

Advantages: Very Cheap, with lots of features Disadvantages: Will help with CCNA, but may stuggle with CCNP
...I bought one of these routers off ebay to help with my upcoming (Cisco) CCNA exam.
These are by no means cutting edge routers, and are obsolete now as they only support 10Mbps via their AUI (lan) port and support a limited amount of protocols.
The router itself has one AUI port, which when used with a transceiver can connect to either another router or a switch (at 10Mbps); 2 serial ports which can be configured with a routing protocol such as frame relay to connect to another switch or ISP data terminal equipment, a console port to configure the router itself, and an AUX port for modem connection.
Though well past it's sell by date, the switch is perfect to get to grips with Ciscos IOS (internetwork Operating System) and set up simple routed networks in conjuction with other routers and switches.
One thing to be aware of when buying...

Anyone with a fondness for applying mascara will know that it doesn’t last very long and in any case should be regularly replaced in order to prevent horrible gooey eye infections. While I’m lecturing, may I remind you to stop pumping the wand?! You... more
