...to install and configure the device. So how much will one cost me? You should be looking to spend between £500 - £1200 depending on the age and condition. There are cheaper products, but atleast you have Cisco behind you. I find that the 515 is an effective block against the threats out tthere on the net, but you must remember that I firewall is on effective as the person that has configured it. Therefore, as I have done and you should do is start to think like a hacker. Based on my experiences of using this on a 10 PC network the performance on the 515 is very good and inline with the other Cisco products on the market. If you are keen to maintain the security and integrity of your network then you will need to keep the IOS (sofwtare) up to date.
