I went on line and found this delightful looking product the WAP54G and being from Linksys meant it was also from Cisco and you can not get a Cisco wireless Access point for under £50 so I went for it.
The Specifications of the Linksys Had everything that I needed

...Cisco systems have once again excelled in the manufacture of this latest wireless communication equipment. While offering great wireless communication between pc's, laptops, music centers and even games consoles including the Microsoft XBOX 360 or Sony Playstation 3, Cisco have managed to keep the interface and setup relatively easy for anyone with basic computer literacy. Although as i live in an area with an independant phone company i have had to aquire the settings for my router from my isp (karoo). After recieving and setting up the linksys wireless-G ADSL Home Gateway WAG200G has performed to a high standard. Its left on, in my home, for days or weeks at a time and does need a reboot from time to time, which is as simple as pressing the power button off and on again.
