So, like a good boy (man, I am 18 and have the parts to prove it) I listened to what they said and invested in a power adaptor. A Nikon Coolpix adaptor that is for use in the Nikon Coolpix 700/800/900/950 digital cameras.

Anyhow, I am one of the stupid people who handed over one hundred and fifty of my English notes for this piece of metal with a little screen on the back.
Not wanting my money to go to waste, I hastily gave a hefty donation to the 'sun cream for donkeys' appeal, which is a charity to provide sun cream for donkeys so that they avoid sunburn. In fact, I am the co-founder and main donor.
After I made this donation I set about using my camera, I took about one hundred and fifty pictures, all of which were high quality of course, none of fit birds walking in the street.
I returned home, with a memory card full of images. To view them I transferred them all to my computer. And then what happened? (Pointless me asking you since, one, I already know the answer, and two, how the flaming heck would you know. That is only unless you stalk me and know my secrets).
The batteries went dead. Yes after one day they had less life in them than what is in George Bush's skull. I thought that it was a bit strange how they went dead so quickly, so on the phone I got to Nikon, who said it would have been the transferring of the images to computer that would have drained the batteries. They suggested getting a power adaptor to use when transferring images instead of using batteries.
So, like a good boy (man, I am 18 and have the parts to prove it) I listened to what they said and invested in a power adaptor. A Nikon Coolpix adaptor that is for use in the Nikon Coolpix 700/800/900/950 digital cameras.
The adaptor set me back thirty-nine quid. However I quickly recuperated the cost of these from the number of batteries that I saved.
When using the adaptor, all you have to remember to do is take out the batteries from the camera. Then plug the adaptor in and Bob's your uncle (or maybe your auntie after a sex change). Anyhow, the camera works the same; you can take pictures etc using the adaptor instead of batteries.
When I transfer my pictures to my computer, I can take my time, because I am not worrying about how much battery I am using (instead, how much electricity from the mains I am using!).
The adaptor has got a transformer built into it, so it will convert the 240volts from the mains into the 3volts for the camera. Magic.
The adaptor is specified for use on the above cameras. However my friend says it also works on most Fuji cameras, which is an added bonus.
It comes with a standard one years manufacturer's garantee, which is good, however I can not see you needing to use it.
Surprisingly, that’s all there is to say about this adaptor, except for the fact that it works well. Very well indeed. That’s it, I will shut up...
Advantages: Compact and Portability Disadvantages: Price
This USB PowerAdapter is a must accessory to have if you have any kinds of iPods. As you would know, when you buy an iPod, you will only receive the iPod itself and the link cable. This means the only way you can charge the iPod is through the computer. However, this is disadvantage for many reasons since you would need to make sure the computer is on when charging. Because its USB charged, it takes quite a long time to charge it to full.
This USB PowerAdapter deals with all of the charging problems and many others. The size of the poweradapter is very compact, with its dimension of 4cm by 4cm (estimate and could be different when bought from different country). It is also not so heavy for portable use.
Also, you can change the adapter itself to European, Asian or wherever with great convenience. All you have to do is slide it ...

~~~~The All Forgotten PowerAdapter~~~~
Hey all, i thought i would write a review seen as though i haven't in a while and i thought that this particular item needed a review.
Well it is basically a poweradapter for use with all of the famous iPODS that everybody seems to have. And it is so unbelievably convenient for charging them, whether you are at home, on the road, or whenever your iPod is not connected to a computer. All you have to do is simply plug the adapter into a wall outlet and connect to your iPod for recharging - and it is quite quick as well.
This adapter is compatible with the following if you are unsure:
~~~~~iPod shuffle
~~~~~iPod nano
~~~~~iPod mini
~~~~~iPod with color display
~~~~~iPod with video
This should be the first thing you need to buy for your iPod - whatever model it ...
Advantages: quite operation easy set up easy to format and partition just like pen drive Disadvantages: 320 gig turned out to be only 300 thought that was a bit naughty
After buying this with my Birthday Money I wondered if I had made the right choice. There were higher capacity ones on the market for the same price. However I bought it because it doesn't need a bulky poweradapter and to add extra storage for my pictures and music.
To install it is a breeze. All you have to do is plug it in and windows detects the drive and assigns it a letter. You can then format it, partition it using the windows drivemanager as NTFS or FAT32 or just leave it as it is as its already formatted.
I chose to format it as NTFS and then to partition it into 3 section for music, pics and data. This was easy to do and soon I was plugging it in and playing.
The operation of the drive is very quiet and it has a 3 yr warranty you can't say fairer than that.
Having had bulkier drives in the past I can honestly ...
