This has to be the worst printer I have ever used. Just changing the label roll provokes it into developing faults - either the printing goes off centre or there is an intermittant 'paper jam' alert (although the paper is not jammed). The user's manual does not cover either of the problems we experience so we have to call out the salesman. Again. It also makes the most irritating high pitched beeping noise when anything is not right - including the whole time the label roll is being changed. Does not deserve even one star but I am not being given that option. ...

All of Citizen label and barcode printers are designed with ease of use in mind. The large metal case with large side panel and removable front cover makes access for ribbon and media loading so easy.Printing with either thermal transfer technology on standard labels, card and plastic or using direct thermal transfer on to coated media, the CLP 4081 creates crisp, detailed labels in all applications. The high-quality printing means barcodes are clear and accurate and easy to read. With a print speed of up to 8 inches per second, high-volume label printing is not a problem.
