The Citizen CMP-10 is a small, lightweight mobile receipt printer that brings functionality and convenience to any mobile environment. Printing at 50 mm/ sec, the CMP-10 affords maximum wireless freedom through an infrared ( IrDA) interface or built-in Bluetooth wireless technology. Weighing less than 12 ounces, the CMP-10 utilizes a long-life lithium-ion battery that supplies up to 40,000 lines of 8 dots/ mm ( 203 dpi) thermal printing on a single charge. This handheld printer has an optional integrated magnetic card reader provides rapid credit card processing.

Why do I have it? Well, to be honest, I am anything but organized. Usually my girlfriend can tell me, where some stuf of mine is hidden before I find it, and usually I had to write down adresses about three times before I could use them; depending on which of my adress books I had with me.
So my boss came up to me and showed me his PALM the first time. I was about the same impressed as a citizen of Lonodn is about the Tower Bridge. The second and third time he showed it I ignored, but somewhen, somewhere between the late 300 and the early 400 I surrendered: I got one at ebay. It cost me a little more than 500 deutschmarks; it was before the euro. "What- (about 170 pounds) for that little thing? But it's only got 8 megs! WHY IS IT SO EXPENSIVE? Any CE-powered bucket has at least double the memory!" I think...

...Introduction
When I bought my first printer a Citizen Swift it was well over £300 about £500 in today's money. The budget 440 was around £80 and has many more features. The performance of printers has had changed beyond all recognition.
The Features
*colour printer with up to a 720 dpi
*excellent software and good configuration facilities
*fairly quick
*handles different format of paper the including envelopes
*presentable output for both text and graphics
Installation
In this was a breeze, I have installed this printer on different computers and each time it has worked first time. The programme comes with the status utility as an optional install use it as is very valuable. The bundled software will vary but usually is quite good.
The Disadvantages
*tiny fonts can become blurred
*can be slow uncomplicated designs...
