2cv my true love, killing a few myths

Advantages: Cheap, fun, eyecatcher
Disadvantages: some parts expensive or hard to get

...to join a 2CV or Citroen owners club.. Okay back to the car, so is it dangerous? Compared to a Toyota 626 Mondeo, then it's not as safe..But compared to a lot of other classics of it's era, then it's relatively safe (except for side impacts..bad bad bad). It handles well, predictable, not sporty handling but predictable. Excellent brakes when set up right. Excellent engine that loves revs, anybody saying the opposite outta be hospitalized on ...
...and have a good long laugh..I really thought that review was a joke.. Narrow tyres? maybe if you compare directly to a VW Golf..But taking into consideration that the Golf has 3 times the power and twice the weight..Then the 2CV comes out with wider tyres than the Golf.. Slow? Well a top speed of 115 to 120km/h might seem a bit slow on the highways/motorways and the acceleration is a bit low compared to newer cars..Stay in the inner lane, take ...

Citroen Saxo

Advantages: Very cheap to run and maintain.
Disadvantages: Security is a major flaw.

I own this model and have to say its a brilliant car if you want something good looking and really cheap to run! To maintain and service this car is really cheap as parts for it are so cheap. Plus you can fix all the normal jobs e.g Brake pads and discs yourself. I am not a mechanic and have never done anything on a car before as this is my first car, with the use of the 'Haynes' manual, a book which i got from the library, it gives you a step to ...
...really good on petrol, can make it look really good with a bit of work, cheap on insurance, everything's brilliant about it if your looking for a good looking cheap little runner. The only problem i would have to say is negative is the cars security, but this can easily be upgraded. ...

citroen zsara picasso space space space

Advantages: space and easy to drive
Disadvantages: personally haven't got one

i brought a citroen xsara picasso just after my baby was born as my other car wasnt big enough to get anything else but the pushchair in the boot. i used to have a renault clio which i loved and i was worried about driving a bigger car but there was no need as a picasso is easier to drive and has loads of room in the front and back easy to put the seats down to create more room lots of drinks holders in front and back and i the doors so hopefully ...

VTS - A Fun Sporty Hot Hatch

Advantages: Cheap to buy, handles well, very nippy
Disadvantages: fuel consumptions not brillaint, dealership parts can be expensive

Citroen Saxo VTS 1.6 16v Citroen is a French car manufacturer that produces amazing rally cars and also general cars for road use some of which are made with the rally versions in mind. French build quality and reliability are often slated but after having 5 French cars they really aren't all that bad, they certainly have character and are very unique. The Saxo VTS has a 1.6 16v (1587 cc) 4 cylinder engine the top model Saxo which produces 120bhp ...
...still have a 1.4 model Citroen Saxo and fancied the quicker top model so I went out looking for one and found a Wicked Red 2000 'W' plate with 90,000 on the clock and full service history for just £1925 took her out and fell in love with her. The first thing I did was go out and buy some good sports tyres for her so her handling could be at it's best, after a while of getting used to a slightly different car I couldn't be more impressed with her, ...

VTR- Buy one!

Advantages: Goes well, nice to drive, looks good and cheap to run
Disadvantages: Interior rattles a bit on bumpy roads

I have owned my Y reg VTR for about 6 months now and i really like it!! It goes well, handles well in the corners and looks good. I personally find the interior quite roomy and i'm 6' 2" tall. Yes the pedals are quite close together but it takes no time at all to get used to and also the driving position is comfortable as well. The insurance is cheap(group 7) and MPG is really good, i'm getting on average 43 miles to the gallon. The only negative ...
