2cv my true love, killing a few myths
Advantages: Cheap, fun, eyecatcher Disadvantages: some parts expensive or hard to get
...to join a 2CV or Citroen owners club..
Okay back to the car, so is it dangerous?
Compared to a Toyota 626 Mondeo, then it's not as safe..But compared to a lot of other classics of it's era, then it's relatively safe (except for side impacts..bad bad bad). It handles well, predictable, not sporty handling but predictable.
Excellent brakes when set up right.
Excellent engine that loves revs, anybody saying the opposite outta be hospitalized on ... ...and have a good long laugh..I really thought that review was a joke..
Narrow tyres? maybe if you compare directly to a VW Golf..But taking into consideration that the Golf has 3 times the power and twice the weight..Then the 2CV comes out with wider tyres than the Golf..
Slow? Well a top speed of 115 to 120km/h might seem a bit slow on the highways/motorways and the acceleration is a bit low compared to newer cars..Stay in the inner lane, take ...

Citroen Berlingo !! :)
Advantages: great storage Disadvantages: cant climb hills very well
The citroen berlingo 1.8 has lots of storage such as side compartments in both sides of the front of the car, attached to the door. Also at both sides in the back and the boot. There are netted compartments in the back at both sides up the top. And attached to the back of front seats. There is a good sized gloves compartment and two under the ground in the back, they have lids that blend in with the floor. The seats are well padded and very comfy, ... ...two front seats move back and forward to suit you, they also lean right back. The back seat fold forward in the push of a button and even there base folds forwards for extre space.
The boot has lots of space and could easily fit a big dog or your weekly shopping, and still have extra room. There is an amazing amount of leg room in the back seats and the roof is high enough for an average ten year old to stand up easily. The leg room at the front ...

Citroen C1 - A joy to own with car tax of just £35 per year!
Advantages: Cheap car to run and a nippy little run around car for short journeys. Disadvantages: Slow up hills and impossible to overtake anything faster than a tractor!
...one advantage of owning a Citroen C1. They are easy to park being so small and warm up nice and quick in the winter! It is certainly cheap enough to run. The only thing I would say about this car is that is you have been used to driving a car with a bigger engine you do get a little frustrated with the 1 litre engine. It is nippy around town and on short runs, but hills and overtaking can be a little tricky. Also fuel consumption on the motorways ... ...looking. It is ok, except for all the shiny plastic chrome looking bits and pieces that I have to keep sticking back on with super glue! In my own opinion I find the Citroen C1 to be an all round good little car that is cheap to run. ...

The New Boy in my life (opps sorry my partners)
Advantages: Great road handling and very eco friendly Disadvantages: only one - no door on storage area
...bumpers & wing mirrors. The Citroen emblem – 2 silver arrows pointing upwards stand out at the front of the bonnet and compliment the sleekness of the built-in headlights and indicator case. The large windscreen has just one large wiper blade that has the usually settings.
The rear of the car is fairly short but the boat space is adequate and the tidiness of the whole car makes it a pleasant little car to look at.
***Inside – I was surprised by ... ...legs - so well done Citroen for the space factor. I will say that the leg room in the back is obviously not as roomy as the front but it is adequate for the size of the car. The seats are very comfortable. They are a soft black, padded fabric that support your back well. The front seats can be manoeuvred easily forward/backwards via a handle on the bottom side of each seat. Both front and rear seats have adjustable headrests that can also be lifted ...

One of the best small cars ever, cheap and looks amazing!
Advantages: Smart and cheap to run Disadvantages: Doesnt come with glovebox lid as standard.
I currently own a Citroen C1 VTR in metallic Carlinite Grey and I love it. It is very comfortable inside and quite spacious to say it is small. The interior may be cheap but it is rather funky and looks modern. The boot is quite small, but for a girl, I just use the back seats to put all my shopping on. The car comes in quite a few colours e.g. black grey, silver, red, electric blue and mica green. They all suit the car no matter what colour you ... ...run, the tax for the year is about £35, and it costs on average £30 for a full tank which gets me 400 miles when driven economically. The downsides for me is that the car as standard comes with no glovebox lid, no rear speakers, the standard headunit isn't the best of quality. It is ok if you aren't bothered about music in your car, but if you enjoy listening to music whilst your driving, then it may need uprating or just better speakers put in. ...
