... For me it has to be Blur, the plain Bounty and a Berlingo (although not necessarily all of them at the same time!) My love affair with the Berlingo started about two and a half years ago when my husband ordered a brochure for the Citroen Picasso. Accompanying this were the particulars for ... Read review

"Is the Pope in town?!"

AdvantagesSliding doors, lots of space, high driving position

DisadvantagesVisability when reversing, looks like a van!

"...ordered a brochure for the Citroen Picasso. Accompanying this were the particulars for the Berlingo. I was immediately struck by the versatility of the car (more about this later) and also, I must confess, I loved the fact it looked a bit like a van! My husband hated it and put the details in the bin! Clearly underestimating the resourcefulness of us females, he forgot all about the Berlingo for many months. Many months later ..... we bought ..." Excellent car spoiled by appalling documentation

AdvantagesRoomy, excellent visibility, quiet

DisadvantagesGoing out of production. Terrible website and documentation

"...probably buy a Lexia 3 Citroen Peugot Diagnostics tool.2) Maintenance schedule - incomplete and not clear. Too many cars are in the same booklet and the differences are not clearly labelled. The schedule is also incomplete. I believe in preventative advance maintenance, especially before a trip of 3000 miles. Apart from the usual brakes, oils, filters and plugs, when for instance do you expect to change the alternator band, ..." Read review

First family car UPDATED

AdvantagesLoads of space, roof space, sliding doors

Disadvantagesnone as yet

"...that stood out was the Citroen Xsara Picasso, after bypassing the Berlingo and running straight to the shining Picasso, I thought we had our car. However after taking a second look at the poor Berlingo I could see a great car emerging. - The boot space is second to none with a roller blind style flexible shelf. There is no problem slotting almost anything in the boot alone. - Rear seats can all be folded and pushed back to provide the most amazing ..." Read review

Love the space

Advantagesspace, comfort, high driving position, reliable

Disadvantagesvisibility through rear window

"We bought one of these this week after a friend had bought theirs a couple of months ago. They highly recommended their 1.9D so we initially went to have a look at the 2.0HDI because the fuel consumption seemed very attractive. Unfortunately, the extra £2K didn't seem to justify what was basically the same car as the 1.4i. We are expecting our second child so needed something reliable and with enough room to accomodate the family and the pushchairs. We ..." Read review
