Great small car

Sometimes too small

Citroen C2 REASON FOR BUYING THIS CAR For many a long year we as a family have had one car (At the minute a Toyota Avensis Verso – See review). This was proving to be somewhat of a burden to myself as I did all the driving with the children and my wife. My wife works in a town 7 miles from our...

Excellent

Good Mileage-Good Drive

Need little legs to sit in the back

I was looking for a car for my son that wouldn't look like his old mum has chosen it for him and the Citroen C2 1.1 ticked most of the boxes on my very extensive list, and as a bonus the showroom had a shiny 'nail varnish' blue car sitting in their shop window . The exterior of this car is...

I first saw this car about a year ago in the dealers forecourt and thought "wow, that looks really neat". About a month later, the car I was driving was falling to bits (literally), so I decided to take the C2 for a test drive. The one I took for a test drive was the VTR with the automatic...

On buying my first car, citroens c2 model was the one that was the best value for money compared to other companies for me. After buying the customer service was however, totally lacking in the particular showroom I bought my car from. i bought the 1.1L model, after being told I could change the...

I have had relative success with Citroen cars in the past; the Citroen Xsara Picasso is an excellent car. However, this car really is not anywhere near that standard. People say to me that as it is a relatively cheap car; then I should expect that it is not going to drive as well as it should. I...

Not ideal as a family car.

I've had my c2 for over a month now, and I can honestly say I am very impressed with it. My partner has a Frontera which is handy when we go out as a family, but I wanted a wee car as a run around for shuttling the kids about etc. Although its not huge in the back it is adaquate for two people...

I bought this car having totalled my old Seat Cordoba, and at first was doubtful as to whether the severe difference in engine size would trouble me. I found almost immediately that my fears were unfounded - although it's only a 1.1 litre engine the car is so light that it more than compensates...

Looks Good, Stylish

All power comes at once

I have driven this car a far few hours and over all it seems to be quite a good little car. Its stylish on both the outside and on the inside. The seating and wheel position are all comfortable making the ride pleasant. There is plenty of room in the back seats for two adults, three at a push...

8-valve engine, discontinued model range

I bought this Citroen C2 1.1 it has VTR batch on it. What I liked - Multipoint injection - Contactless dual ignition coil pack - Electric power steering (no hydraulic pump constantly loading the engine) - Fly-by-wire throttle (09 model) - 20000 miles service interval I also liked - Tilt and...

my parents bought me this car for my 18th birthday and i have had it ever since. As soon as i saw this little sporty car sat in my garden with a big pink bow on it i went mad with happiness. I absolutley love this car, the only problem i have had with it is that it used to stall really easily...

Not for me

published 01/08/2007

i bought a used C2 from a main dealer, still with 18 months warranty and 12 month dealer guarantee. after 11 months and 17000 miles the engine blew a hole in the oil sump which emptied all it's oil on the road. citroen said "that the warranty will not cover the repair because the air filter got wet, and then advised me to claim from my insurance". i will never buy a citroen again and strongely advise anyone who is considering buying a citroen to think again. Rob from Coventry i will be taking them to court
