Comfort The seating is very comfortable and has zoned airconditioning and cruise control / speed limiter built in. The EGS system is good for those long haul drives as the driver can relax and concentrate on the road ahead. As stated it can be alarming if you need to accelerate quickly! Inside the car there is a feature called ambient lighting that gives an orange glow from the roof lining and under the dashboard, its nice but a bit gimmicky. The door pockets helpfully light up when you insert your hand. There is a colled compartment on the dashboard suitable for drinks as well as compartments on the top of both sides of the dashboard. On row 2 there are tables on the back of row 1 seats that have integral lights as well as the usual drinks holder. The rear view mirror is an automitic light sensing mirror that dims if the mirror is subjected to headlights
Economy Im averaging about 42.0 mpg at the minute and I do quite a lot of motorway miles. I dontthink this is bad for a big old bus that has a 2.0 HDi engine.
Versatility The idea of this car is to be versatile and it is easily converted from 5 seater to 7 seater with the removal of the blind in the back and by pulling on a lanyard the additional seats apprear. Leg room for these seats is not as good as those on row 2, however are suitable for children. In the back row there is a 12v accesory socket as well as drinks holders.
Luggage
When in 7 seat mode luggage space is limited, however this vehicle came with a very fancy luggage net that can be stretched vertically to retain loads. Its actually on a frame so not the usual ones you get in cars and is on a roller so retracts when not in use. The boot is equipped with a light which also can be detached to use as a torch - very useful.
Performance
For a vehicle of this size it performs well. It is hampered somewhat by the EGS system which takes a little getting used to but overall is very good.
Overall
This car fills that gap for that larger family. Our kids love it with the trays and accesory sockets to power their DVD players / Gaming systems
Advantages: Visability Disadvantages: Driving in windy conditions
I received my C4 Picasso 5 seater 1.8 manual on 18.04.2008. I bought it without test driving and was a bit worried about the hill start assist - I shouldn't have been - it's great, as is the electric parking break. I found out its first major flaw in the first 10 seconds: My shoe gets stuck on the clutch pedal! I've driven many cars (in 30 years of driving), but this is the first one that I've had to change the position of my foot on the clutch pedal ... ...11 shoe, otherwise I can't release the clutch! The other major flaw is how unstable the car is in windy conditions - I believe the soft suspension contributes to this - you can never relax and it gets quite dangerous. Turbulence from other vehicles on the motorway is also a problem. Apart from these issues I'm quite happy with the car - it looks great (mine is in Tivoli Blue) and handles well. Mine is on a 3 year lease - I'll probably not keep it ...

Advantages: Flexible seating system, good fuel economy, spacious interior Disadvantages: EGS system can be a little jerky
Overall we are really impressed. There is loads of legroom in the front and the huge windscreen makes it feel very spacious. This is important to us as my husband is 6 ft 6!
We really like the flexibility of the seating system. Most of the time we just use five seats and have a huge boot space. The seats in the third row are really only suitable for children but we have had adults in there for small journeys.
The car has lots of handy extras such ... ...compartments for storage, extra 12v sockets.
The EGS system can be a little jerky and takes some getting used to Sometimes when you are pulling away at a junction it takes time to kick in but the fuel economy is so good I think it makes up for it. It also has a top safety rating too. Definitely recommend. ...

Reviews which might be of interest for "Citroen C4 Picasso"
I have now owned a CitroenPicasso for several months now and I can honestly say I have been pleasantly surprised by the cars feel and design. One of the first great features of the Picasso is its interior space and layout. The Picasso has a very large and deep-set windscreen which extends far back into the roof, giving very good visibility on the road. The gear stick is also in a slightly unfamiliar place as it sticks diagonally out of the console just under the radio, this at first is a little unusual but only takes a short time to get used too. The interior is also full of slots, cubby holes, drawers and drinks holders ? more than enough to keep my kids happy over a long journey. The Picasso is very easy to drive and although not blisteringly fast, it has enough poke for zipping around the country roads. Even though the Picasso is ...
Advantages: Practicality, Diesel engine, Huge boot, Driving position Disadvantages: Plasticy interior trim, Wind Noise, Far too easy to speed!!
able to individually fold up to the back of the front seats to create a van-like load area. The middle rear seat can also slide forward to offset the rear passengers, and all come with three point seatbelts, even though the centre one can be awkward to set up properly. The car also has a four star Euro-Ncap safety rating making it ideal for families.
For anyone interested in buying one new from a Citroen dealer there is good news and bad. The bad; soon to be introduced is the new CitroenC4 based mini MPV to replace the Picasso, owing to disagreements with the famous painter's family the new model will not bear the Picasso badge, and is yet to be named. It will look significantly different to the current model, but aims to build on the practicality, style and ultimately success of the current model. The good news; this new model has ...
Advantages: Looks good, plenty of extras, well built, spacious interior, no clutch Disadvantages: Automatic gearchanges could be better timed
When looking for a new car back in December 2006, I wanted something which ran on diesel, had a clutchless gearbox (i.e. automatic with paddleshift) and looked good. This combination limits youto a number of manufacturers it seems, and I ended up choosing between a diesel automatic Audi A3 and the CitroenC4 1.6HDi 16V VTR+ Coupe EGS. I chose the CitroenC4 based on the fact that it is better value for money (unsurprisingly) and looks better (I also already have a CitroenPicasso)
Design
I chose the 3 door version, as it looks much better than the 5 door version (which looks like a Ford Focus), a bit sporty even, and meets my requirements. I chose the "Iron Grey" colour, which I think compliments the car's salmon-esque shape. I don't see many C4s in the South-East of the UK, and it does stand out amongst the usual German marques ...
