city confidential is a tip sheet that covers all sectors and most market capitalisations mainly outside the big ftse 100.the tips are not bad but htey do trumpet their own success with a winner and not so when they pick a loser- most tip sheets probably are the same. the main reason i am writing this is that they usually offer a 3 month free trial period and a discounted 1st yr subscription vs £79 (at time of writing)-but take care, if you do not like what you read then send a letter of cancellation in ample time before the trial period ends or they will take a fair part of the subscription fee. also if you think of cancellation after the 3 month period,i.e. after they drew money out of your account, don't hold much breath of getting any back, in my case i decided to cancel after 7 months and requested a refund for the remaining issues- but nada and not even a courteous reply in the negative after 2 letters. all in all not bad compared to other tip sheets i've read but there is better value and chepear elsewhere, esp on the net.
