Advantages: Some good songs, good music, my daughter loves it, very mixed Disadvantages: There are some classic "Hannah Montana" style songs to fill in the gaps
If you have a young daugher (or even if you don't), there's a good chance you've heard of Miley Cyrus. For the purpose of this review however, I feel I need to give a little background as to exactly who Miley Cyrus is.
Miley (born Destiny Hope just in case that interests you) is the 15 year old (soon to be 16) daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus. She is probaby more famous as her alias Hannah Montana. She has her own programme on the Disney Channel all about Miley Stewart (how many names can one girl have?) - a brown haired regular school kid who lived a secret life as blonde haired rock star Hannah Montana.
This is Miley's second album as herself. Although she has released other albums as Hannah Montana, this is her first album with no connection to the Hannah Montana franchise. Hannah's music is what I would describe as ...
Advantages: Excellent songs, upbeat, diverse allbum, lyrics are exceptional and it is cheap! Disadvantages: I can't think of any, it is excellent.
Hannah Montanna or should I say Miley Cyrus is now a superstar and this album further proves this attained status! This album is absolutly brilliant and I would throughally recommend this. The album is becomming cheaper and cheaper with the 'Platinum' edition available from just £5.99 on iTunes.
All of the songs are hits in their own right, just hear them for yourself on the iTunes store. Literally every song I absolutly love and having asked the opinions of quite a few people all of them have agreed and said that it is an excellent album. Well worth getting and couldn't recommned it more.
Don't forget that Miley Cyrus hasn't got this fame for no reason and would not release an album that wasn't up to scratch with a reputation like her's.

Advantages: not as lengthy as average Bollywood films Disadvantages: more character development would have improved the film
Being Cyrus was released in the UK in March 2006 having been released 6 months earlier in France (funnily enough it was released in India at the same time as the UK). The film stars Saif Ali Khan, and although a Bollywood film, it's rather different to the normal Bollywood fare in that the entire film's dialogue is in English and the film runs for less than 90 minutes (although there is also a full Hindi version of the film available too).

Being Cyrus was directed by Homi Adajania (who also wrote the screenplay with Kersi Khambatta) and produced by Ambika Hinduja, Dinesh Vijan, Raman Macker and Munnish Puri (quite a large production team there)!
