Civilization IV Official Strategy Guide

Advantages: good game play, excellent sound, nice graphics
Disadvantages: not much control on city and in battles

...Civilization 4 is definately recomonded for every pc strategy game player. Thing about civilization 4 is it is different from other strategy games of cource you made new buildings and units but all that happens within the city and you dont require labour to do so like age of empires but you do require labour units to build roads and buildings on resources which are many. Gameplay of this game is quite good normaly you start with a settler unit unit of which you make a city and a warrior unit with which you explore and defend your city from initial attacks which could be from lions or nomads. Graphics of this game are 3d and are excellent the terrain the units all looks good. Offcource mainly all the games are mostly about gameplay but I just love the sound of this game its really really good (or may be I like it too much) all in all... Read review

Advantages: Can be bought quite cheaply and worth every penny
Disadvantages: Postage will be hefty as it's a thick book! It will be worth it though

...A superb books to accompany a wonderful game. The book contains the expected walkthrough, but also the locations of the 'flying rats' which have taken the position of hidden packages. Also, there is a large range of maps that are fantastic in detail and show all of the specific locations of strip clubs, bars, restaurants, clothes shops, spray shops etc, that make the game what it is. The guide covers both the story missions and the characters that you meet along the way. I would definately advise you get the guide to go along with the game. My boyfriend purchased it when he got the game and although he has not used it yet, he will need to later on! I have also just purchased it for a friend as a birthday present and I know he is going to love it! I would top rate the guide just as much as I would top rate the game!... Read review
