I was recently returning something to a Claire's in Glasgow and was surprised by service I received.

The girls working there were having a gabber on a busy Saturday morning. One poor girl was serving whilst seemed oblivious to the customers.

I tried to return a set and they were very rude – like it was my fault that it fell apart! The girl said she would need to get her manage who was no mood to finish her goss. My blood was starting to boil at this point.

Eventually the manager came over and I had to repeat the entire conversation I’d had with the Saturday girl. Again the implication was that I was at fault! When I pointed out it was clearly crap quality the manager just got shirty with me as she “did not make the earings”.

After huffing and puffing her way over to find a replacement (which I’d already said I didn’t want) she said she’d give me my money back as a "goodwill gesture". Needless-to-say I will not be returning to Claire’s!
