Clairol Herbal Essences Conditioner Normal Hair

As you know if you have read my opinion about Herbal Essence shampoo (and if you haven’t – why not?) I had 50ml bottles of the shampoo and conditioner as free samples ordered from www.herbalessences.com

I was very impressed and wrote an opinion about the shampoo, but now I have a problem. I want to write an opinion about the conditioner too, but I have recently been criticized for using the same wording on two separate opinions about the same sort of product, which incidentally I think is inevitable to some extent.

Anyway just for the purists amongst you I shall endeavour not to repeat words from the first opinion unless I absolutely have to! I shall obviously need to use the words ‘Herbal Essences’ and such like as changing the product name would make the opinion a bit silly wouldn’t it?

The conditioner is the Herbal Essences Moisturising Conditioner for Normal Hair. Whether you consider me ‘normal’ or not is quite another matter.

It came in a container that isn’t made from either glass or metal, and which is a tiny copy of the ordinary 200ml sized bottles in the shops. There is a sketch of tall spiky plants on the side of the container opposite to the back, which I think is Aloe Vera, but I feel sure that I will be told if I’m not right in this assumption.

As an aside I think that the 200ml containers have to be paid for with about £2.

The thing that I noticed immediately as I removed the top from the bottle was the lovely smell. It really does smell pleasant and like flowers. The contents include camomile, aloe vera and jojoba, theoretically in ‘mountain spring water’.

So I was in the cubicle with water spraying down upon me, having washed my hair and I put about a third of the contents of the container into the middle of the appendage on the end of my arm.

The conditioner is not thin and it is the same colour as egg yolk only much paler. I rubbed it onto the top of my head from where I had just rinsed the shampoo. I do not have long hair, but it is not thin either and there’s quite a lot of it, but that amount of conditioner was the right amount to do the job it was meant for.

So the big question is does it work – again a resounding yes!

After I had used this product on my ‘barnet’ together with the matching shampoo, when passing my digits through the washed part of my anatomy it does not feel hard in fact quite the opposite!

It is easy to manage too. My hair is strong willed anyway, but it did appear to be easier to sort out even after slumbering on it, which is not usual at all!

Camomile is popular as an extract that will add shine to your crowning glory, and aloe vera has the power to restore.

In all I am extremely pleased with this conditioner and will definitely be purchasing it in future, so the small container that I didn’t have to pay for has worked out well for the company!

So there you are, as promised, the opinion about the conditioner only using the same words as the one about the shampoo where I had to!! OK?
