I have used Herbal Essences for years, probably 10 of them! When the new Fruit Fusions line was introduced I couldn't wait to try it. My conditioner had run out so when I was in Sainsburys I saw the Fruit Fusions Hydrating Conditioner on offer, 2 for 1. As I always look for deals, as well as a good product, I bought 2 of these. When I buy haircare products I normally have to smell them first just to make sure....but I trusted Herbal Essence and didn't flip the lid.

So the next day I washed my hair normally and then applied the conditioner. The conditioner is a bit more thick than others I have tried, which seemed good to me. I let it sit in my hair for a few minutes and then rinsed. It was fairly easy to remove from my hair. I could already feel the softness, But.... The smell was not very nice. At first, you get the berry smell, but then there is a woody after smell that is not very pleasant. Kinda like wet cardboard. This really disappointed me. And here I was stuck with 2 bottles of it!! Everytime I use it I try to think positive about the smell and try to think that yes it does smell nice! But not yet... All day my hair felt really soft and easy to brush, but when my hair fell into my face I could smell it!! Ha Ha

Now for the details....

Fruit Fusions Hydrating Conditioner comes in a light purple plastic bottle with a green lid. The size is has 250ml. The bottle can also be recycled!

This partically kind is made with Blackberry, Avocado and Mango extracts. The label says the fruits were grown under organic conditions, so a plus. Since it is a hydrating conditioner, it is more for dry/damaged hair.

The price individually was £2.39 from Sainsburys, but I bought it on offer.

There is a website for more info, www.herbal-essences.co.uk

Please if you have used this product I would like to know what you think! I have given it an average rating because of the smell.

I really like the smell of this! I buy it for the smell - my hair isn't actually dry and I usually get shampoo for normal hair but this one is nicer. My boyfriend hated the smell though(serves him right for using mine!) - must be personal taste. Have a smell before you buy it!
