Spending a fortune on a holiday only for your tan to fade within a few weeks? I have found a product that will both enhance and retain your golden tan for weeks longer than normal, and the cost is actually quite minimal considering the multitude of benefits it offers the mind and body. I say mind as I feel really good every time I look in the mirror and see my radiant face looking back even though it is over 6 weeks since I returned from my holiday and anything that makes me smile is a good thing.
Clarins After Sun Moisturiser with Self Tanning Action comes in a 150ml tube, costing between £9 - £16 depending on where you buy it from. It can be found behind the counter of most larger Boots stores or the Clarins perfume stands of most major department stores. As an aftersun lotion it is pretty expensive but I have found that each area I have tried to describe in my head to be absolutely fanastic. The smell is lovely fresh and clean, almost clinical while the lotion is absorbed really really quickly into the skin even after just showering. The cream isn't greasy at all so as it glides over the skin the rehydrating benefits are almost instantaneous.
The best thing about Clarins After Sun Moisturiser is the fact that it enhances the tan. After a couple of days of using it I found that my tan was much deeper and more golden than normal. Where I normally had little patches where I hadn't tanned properly on my forehead the tan was unbroken and really pleasing. I am so impressed with this that I'll now be using it after I top up my tan on the sunbed when it does eventually fade but I can't see that happening for some time yet.
An essential for anyone going on holiday who wants to keep their tan for as long as possible.
