Wanting to further improve my skin, friends recommended me this flash balm so a friend offered me a sample of the product to try. I was eager to try it out!
Clarins is a well-known and highly respected brand in the make up industry. Their ranges of products are all of an extremely high quality and value. Although their prices are on the high end of the scale, their products are well worth the money.
Clarins states that this Beauty Flash Balm will -Promote immediate and long-lasting radiance. - Firms and helps minimise fine lines and wrinkles. - Smoothes and softens skin. - Strengthens and refines the contours of the face; skin regains firmness and suppleness. - Make-up looks exceptionally radiant.
My first thoughts on Flash Balm, is the name, which came across as a product that works quickly and effectively.
On the instructions it explains the product in more detail and states that its packed full of natural ingredients such as Algae extracts, Olive, Rice and Witch hazel.
Also on the instructions, it says that the application of the balm is to use it once to twice a week either at night or first thing in the morning before your make up. It can also be used as a treatment, by applying a thicker layer on to the face and leave for 15 minutes
I have found that using the products both ways does help to improve the overall texture and appearance of the skin instantly.
I have found that if I apply a thin layer on my face, it helps to remove any redness in my face, from scars or spots and my skin looks cleanly polished and refreshed.
When I put my make up on, on top of the balm, I find that it helps my make up to stay on for longer, and also it helps it to look fresher for longer as well.
The balm is a creamy off white colour and it doesn’t have a particular smell.
Its very pleasant to use and doesn’t leave any residue on your face once you have applied it.
I would recommend this product to everyone, as I genuinely believe that this product does work and I have seen the effects of the product last the whole day and the bottle last and last and last! You only have to apply a thin layer on your face.
never really tried this and, unfortunately, cant really afford to. i tend to use the avon vitamin c complex instead, which promises to do a lot of the same things. there's a superdrug equivalent as well which is pretty good! (just in case anyone is looking for cheaper options to this!!!) paula x

I've nearlly brought some of this many times before but it's a lot of money to spend if it doesn't suit my skin. My cousin works on the clarins counter, might see if I can get a sample first. Good review, Laurie xx

Review of Clarins Beauty Flash Balm
Advantages: It has a great consistency that should suit anyone and takes years off your face. Disadvantages: some people hate the smell - but I love it!
