Disadvantages: nasty smell, nasty allergic reaction

...at just how awful this Clarins product was, not least because of the major plaudits it's received in the beauty magazines and press. The first thing that's unpleasant about this is the smell, strongly medicinal, which isn't that uncommon in these products; but what is uncommon is that the whiff from this seems to last all day. ...after a few days, so it was pretty unpleasant as my skin had said this was 'OK' on a routine patch test. Unfortunately that means I can't report whether it lifted, firmed and banished cellulite. I do not usually use Clarins products but was willing to give their body lift product, the Lift Mindeur 2000 a try after being recommended by their counter staff. According to the blurb, it is supposed to "firms, refines and tones" and help minimize the appearance of 'sponginess'. Being a huge fan of Clarins I was quite dissapointed with this product, it was a pinky colour and did not smell very appealing.
