~ My experience ~
The cream is ... ...is lovely and thick and feels very cool on your skin as you gently apply it to your face, taking care not to rub it in. Having been out last night with the usual layers of polyfilla on, I used the cleanser this morning, should have been last night I know but my skin is thankful for it now!!

This was yet another one of my birthday pressies and believe me, with a birthday in January and getting closer to 40 every year, I need little treats like this!!
It came at just the right time as my Virgin Vie cleanser was coming to the end of it's life and I needed a replacement.
For those of you who have read my other reviews, you will know that my skin care regime is virtually non-existent and I wonder why I look more like 46 than 36!! Anyway enough and on to the product.
~ Price ~
This is generally more expensive in department stores like House of Fraser or Debenhams and even with postage costs, like many things it's often cheaper to buy it on the internet. I had a look at kelkoo and the cheapest was £11.95 for a 200ml bottle but in H of F etc it's generally around the £14 mark which isn't a bargain, more of a luxury item for me!!
~ Packaging ~
This comes in a predominantly white box with red writing on.
Inside the box there is a clear plastic bottle with a flip top lid, underneath of which is a small hole from 'whence' the cream comes!!
As I always say, I much prefer tubs, than bottles so you are guaranteed at getting every last bit of the product as so often there are bits left in the bottle.

The cream is a very, very pale green colour.
It is lovely and thick and feels very cool on your skin as you gently apply it to your face, taking care not to rub it in. Having been out last night with the usual layers of polyfilla on, I used the cleanser this morning, should have been last night I know but my skin is thankful for it now!!
I always put way too much on so need quite a few of those cotton pads to take it off. I then give my skin a quick once over with some tepid water to get the last bits off. Or if my skin is feeling really lucky I will use a toner which is the best thing to get any remains of cleanser off.
The smell is pleasant and fresh, not a strong heavy floral smell which is often the case with cleansers.
What I particularly like about this cream is that it doesn't dry my skin out. With some cleansers I have used in the past, they clean but at the expense of your skin's natural moisture and I have to slap on a good layer of E45 afterwards. Not so with this cleanser.
So overall, I'm delighted with my birthday cleanser. I have to admit that I really wouldn't buy this myself, only due to the cost, it's a luxury I can't justify. But if you like treating yourself then it is certainly worth the money.
My ratings reflect the cost of it since although it's a lovely treat there are other good products on the market which cost less.

...use. I've been using Clarins Cleansing Milk for Dry/Normal Skin for about 2 years now and I'm very happy with this product. The product is packaged in the trademark Clarins clear plastic flattened oval bottle with red writing and a white lid and the standard size is 200ml / 7ozs. Although it is a cleansing milk it is thicker and richer than most other milk cleansers and is a very pale green in colour. It contains Vitamins A and E to cleanse, Alpine ... ...skin. The Alpine Herbs give it a pleasant fragrance which does smell herbal but is not too overpowering. The manufacturer claims this cleanser will :
-gently lift make up and impurities
-improve skin suppleness and elasticity
-moisturise and neutralise the drying effects of hard water
-enhance the complexion
The cleansing milk should be used morning and evening and can be wiped off with cotton wool or rinsed with water. Personally I prefer to ...
