Advantages: Tones skin, closes pores

...My grandmother and mother who both have amazing skin both swear by Clarins products so not wanting to get wrinkles I follow their advice. Now toner is something that I am never completely convinced by - it seems like it is a bit of a waste of money as it doesn't clean your skin or moisturise particularly. It promises to close the pores in your skin thus preventing blackheads, oilyness and spots. Living in London where the air is sometimes polluted I don't want more nasty things in my skin so I bought this product. It is not cheap - ranges between £9 - £15 although you can buy it in a joint pack with make up remover and cleanser sometimes - much better value. It comes in a large size so is too big to take on an aeroplane. It is however good for sensitive skins and does what it says on the tin - it does close my pores after cleansing... Read review

Advantages: Easy to use, leaves skin feeling amazing, eliminates fine lines (yes it really does!)
Disadvantages: The initial outlay is high, but it lasts a long time, so work out the monthly cost before making a decision.

...also do lots of other products for eyes, hands, face masks, skin care and a wonderful make up range. Their foundation is to die for! Results: my skin is clear, minimal blackheads, in the morning when I cleanse there is NO residue on the sponge chief when with Clarins there was always some dirt on my cotton wool, my fine lines have gone, my skin is not shiny and has a much improved tone. It is no longer sensitive and blotchy and my confidence has increased by miles. I know how your skin ages is largely due to genes, but whatever help you can give your skin now will reap rewards in the future. Give it a go!... Read review
