Wow!

Advantages: It works
Disadvantages: Oily Pillow!

...was recommended this after a Clarins facial as I had noticed that I had an increasing amount of open pores. The Clarins lady suggested I try this Facial oil and although i was a little dubious at first - it seemed quite expensive and I wasn't too keen on the idea of covering my face in oil each night - I gave it a go.

The Oil smells absolutely gorgeous, kind of Citrusy and Floral and fresh, and a little goes a very very long way - ...
...am not even 1/4 way into it.

It is to be used at night instead of a Night Cream. Just rub a little into the Skin after you have dampened face with Toner.
At first i found it a bit too oily (hence the oily pillow remark!) but after a few nights of using it i really noticed the difference.

My skin has improved no end and this is a really nice product to use.
I would highly recommend it if you have combination ... more

Great!

Advantages: Helps minimise scarring and oiliness
Disadvantages: Feels oily/shiny

...my mum bought him the Clarins Lotus Oil. He never used it, tho, and for the last year i've also been experiencing bad acne. I've started using Tea tree oil on my face and it has cleared up my skin (although there are always going to be a few spots popping up now and then) and i've been left with some discolouration and acne scarring, so i started using Vitamin E oil and now the Clarins Lotus Oil. I used it for the first time last night, and i woke ...
...so impressed. I had pink spots on the apples of my cheeks, and i used it one one side (and not the other because i still had some acne on the other side and didn't want the oil to aggravate it, but now i'm using it on both cheeks because the Lotus Oil is meant to help oily skin) and woke up with a massive difference between cheek discolouration. My skin also felt very very smooth and looked quite radiant, rather than the dullness i'm used to. I think ...

This is good

Advantages: Works well
Disadvantages: expensive

...you have very oily skin, Clarins has the product for you. I have used the Lotus face treatment oil - yes I know - they recommend treating an oily skin with an oil, but it really does work. You basically use this oil at night, a couple of drops is all you need, and let the plant oils work on your skin overnight. Its quite expensive, a 40 ml bottle costs about £25, but as you only use a few drops each night, it lasts about 6-9 months , and as a treatment ...
...the range, but I find it too heavy for day wear. The oil is great instead of a night cream. They also do a variation for dry skin. The first time I tried the Lotus oil it normalised my skin for about a year and now I have bought it again and my skin is reganing normality. ...

perfect Make-up

Advantages: hydrates
Disadvantages: a bit pricey

This clarins face lotus treatment oil is far more than just a moisturiser. I love its divine scent and the fact that it is 100% natural gives a sense of well-being. Not just that, it actually works! It balances combination skin perfectly, my cheeks are soft and moist and my T-zone is smooth and non-greasy. It may not give you that instantly perfect complexion but I believe natural products are best for the skin as they work over time and tackle the ...

Good for combination skin

Advantages: hydrates skin at nighttime
Disadvantages: price, oil so use mainly for night treatment

This is one of the varieties of treatment oil made by the company a great facial moisturiser for dehydrated skin cointaining 100% natural plant extracts including lotus and is ideal for those with skin prone to oiliness. these ingredients made my skin feel a sense of weel-being and soft. And because of the ingredients even deep skin problems are tackled. Its main target is combination skin ie people having an area that is oilier than other areas ...
...youthful, radiant complexion. Used as a night face treatment prevents moisture loss at nighttime. Its price is a bit high: I got 100ml of it from salonskincare.co.uk for £24. They also say on the packaging that if it is used at night toghether with Aromatic Plant Day Cream, it acts as the perfect complement to the lotus face treatment oil. ...

It worked for me!

Advantages: It worked for me
Disadvantages: Can seem a bit strange adding oil to combination/oily skin

...product when I bought another Clarins product. I was dubious at the thought of adding oil to my already oily skin but I gave it a go and my skin started to look a lot better within a week. It contains natural oils which really appealed to me (better than a load of chemicals you can't pronounce let alone know what they do). I've still got a fair bit of the sample left as you only need a tiny amount but I'm looking around to see what price I can get ...

Dry Skin To Oily Skin In One Application!

Advantages: Smells nice, leaves skin soft and moisturised
Disadvantages: Leaves skin oily, expensive

The product I am reviewing today is the Clarins Face Treatment Oil for dehydrated skin or "Huile Orchidee Bleue" as all Clarins products have the name in French with the English translation underneath. The face treatment oil comes in 3 varieties, "Santal" for dry or extra dry skin, "Lotus" for combination skin (prone to oiliness and dry patches) and the "Orchidee Bleue" (Blue Orchid) which is for dehydrated skin. At the time I bought the product I was recommended the Orchidee Bleue. Clarins For those of you who have not heard of Clarins they are a French manufacturer of beauty products including skin-care and cosmetics. They also offer beauty treatments such as massages and facials in their spa studios which are found in many large department stores. Their products are based on natural plant extracts and smell lovely ...
