Advantages: Moisturzing and glides on easily
Disadvantages: not instant tan, no colour guide, colour is not v.good

...no colourguide, which is less hassle than fake bake. The colour is quite 'golden', and i notice i have streaks probably due to my application guessing. I have marks where i have not applied the tan and it looks stupid. The colour in the end is average. I naturally have olive skin so i would have been better off with a bronzer tan than golden. 'Golden' tans can tend to look more yellow or orange based, whereas bronzer self tans such as fake bake and dark sunsation are more red coloured based which i prefer. The red undertones in fake bake and dark sunsation prevent the skin from going orange/yellow. I can still smell the fake tan smell from the clarins gel. ...I first tried this product last year. I was about to go on holiday and like many other people you don’t want to go looking like you have just had the fright of your life. The girl at the Clarins counter, suggested that I might like to try this product. Seeing as I am always ready to try new things, I said to her “I will take one” The box is mainly a bright orange/gold colour. At the top is the Clarins Paris logo. Followed by Lait Auto-Bronzant. Then you see a sun with SPF 6 in the middle. For those who speak English there is the description of Self Tanning Milk with Sun Protection clearly printed below. The other three sides of the box tell people about this product in five languages, luckily one is in English. ...Clarins Men Self Tanning Gel can be bought for around £17 and is one of the more expensive self tanning products. This product is designed primarily for the face and neck area. For your £17 you get a 50ml tube of product , nicely presented in a usual Clarins-style box. It is best applied in the morning, after shaving. The Self Tanning Gel is more like a cream, white in colour, with a pleasant smell. It applies very easy and leaves your skin feeling refreshed and moisturized. I found the colour produced to be excellent, not orange like many other products out there, nor too intensive that the next day your friends will be asking 'have you been on holiday?'.
